What NOT to get your girlfriend for Christmas?!?!

Following on from my ‘what not to get your boyfriend for Christmas’ post last week, I thought it was only fair to turn the tables and even up the score – hence this week I am looking at ‘what not to get your girlfriend for Christmas’!?!

So guys take note and make your girlfriend really happy this Christmas by not getting her something from the offending list below!?!

1. Firstly, despite what the store cashier may tell you - it’s probably better to avoid buying her underwear all together. If you opt for the comfy option it will look like something her mother might wear, and if you choose the frilly more feminine option then you run the risk of making her look like a hooker!?!

2. NEVER EVER buy a woman kitchen or cleaning utensils!!! The lady in the advert may well be happy with something that slices and dices, but believe me – your girlfriend will not be!?!

3. Never be tempted by any perfume with a slightly obscure name that is sold at a giveaway rock bottom price!!! Although it may well be a bargain, it will more than likely cause your girlfriend to come out in an allergic reaction whenever she wears it, and it will smell like a cross between pledge and air freshener!?!

4. If you’re going to buy her jewellery, always remember that although cubic zirconia may well look like a diamond to you – any woman will be able to spot the difference from a mile away!?!

5. There is nothing worse than watching your girlfriend unwrap her Christmas gift and seeing the disappointment register on her face when she finds Grand Theft Auto or any similar game!!! Repeat after me – under no circumstances is it acceptable to buy your girlfriend any computer game that is, in fact, for you!?!

As Christmas comes only once a year, think carefully about what you buy and try to pick something that suits her sense of style. Unfortunately, I can’t offer you any suggestions here as everyone is different and there is no magic one size fits all option!!! If you’re in need of some
inspiration, why not check out our website at www.lapelclothing.co.uk – and if you do happen to stumble across that elusive one size fits all gift - can you let me know as well!?!
